Ornamental trees

The ornamental trees used in Japanese gardens are in fact not found in any other garden concept.

Ornamental trees are trees that have been trained into a specific shape. Pines are often used as ornamental trees as well as yew or holly.

Their special forms instantly make them an eye-caching centrepiece and no Japanese garden should be without them.
